Bang Bang Salmon Bites (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Salmon

01 - 1 ½ pounds salmon, skins removed, cut into 1-inch bites
02 - 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
03 - 1 teaspoon paprika
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 1 teaspoon kosher salt
06 - ½ teaspoon black pepper

→ Bang Bang Sauce

07 - 1 cup (232 g) mayonnaise
08 - ½ cup (132 g) Thai sweet chili sauce
09 - 2 teaspoons Sriracha sauce, or more to taste
10 - 2 tablespoons honey
11 - Fresh chives, for garnish

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (390°F).
02 - In a large bowl, combine olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add salmon bites and gently toss to coat.
03 - In a separate bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey. Mix well until smooth and fully integrated.
04 - Divide the Bang Bang sauce into two equal portions. Reserve one portion for serving. Toss the seasoned salmon bites in the remaining sauce until evenly coated.
05 - Working in batches, place the salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring not to overcrowd. Air fry for 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes until the salmon reaches an internal temperature of 60-63°C (140-145°F).
06 - Transfer the cooked salmon bites to a serving plate. Drizzle with the reserved bang bang sauce and garnish with freshly chopped chives.

# Handy Tips:

01 - For oven preparation: Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the seasoned salmon cubes on the lined sheet without adding sauce. Bake for 16 minutes, flipping halfway through, until internal temperature reaches 63°C (145°F). Then toss with bang bang sauce and serve.
02 - Do not add the bang bang sauce before baking in the oven as it will burn.
