# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Meat and Dairy

01 - 2 pounds (907 g) lean ground beef (90/10 or 93/7 fat content)
02 - 8 slices medium cheddar cheese
03 - 170 g (6 oz) medium cheddar, shredded
04 - 2 tablespoons (28 g) unsalted butter, melted, plus more for greasing

→ Vegetables and Condiments

05 - 1/2 large yellow onion, finely diced
06 - 60 ml (1/4 cup) mayonnaise

→ Baking

07 - 24 dinner rolls (two packs of 12) cut in half
08 - 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

→ Seasonings and Oils

09 - 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
10 - 1 teaspoon salt
11 - 1 teaspoon black pepper
12 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Butter the bottom of a rimmed baking sheet to prevent sticking.
02 - Heat 1/2 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add diced onion and cook briefly before adding ground beef. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Cook while breaking up the meat until just cooked through, then remove from heat.
03 - Tilt skillet to spoon off and discard excess fat. Stir mayonnaise into the cooked beef mixture until evenly combined.
04 - Place bottom halves of dinner rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Layer each with a slice of cheddar cheese, then spread the beef mixture evenly on top, using a spatula to square off edges. Cover each with shredded cheddar cheese.
05 - Place top halves of buns cut-side down over the cheese-covered beef patties. Brush tops with melted butter and immediately sprinkle sesame seeds over them.
06 - Bake sliders at 350°F (177°C) for 12 to 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Sliders can be prepared ahead and reheated, maintaining flavor and texture.
