Cheesy Garlic Bread (Print-Friendly Version)

Buttery, garlicky bread topped with mozzarella and Parmesan for a crispy, flavorful dish.

# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Bread

01 - 1 loaf French or Italian bread, approximately 14 oz

→ Butter Mixture

02 - 1/2 cup salted butter, softened
03 - 3-4 cloves garlic, minced or 1 tablespoon garlic powder
04 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
05 - Salt and black pepper, to taste

→ Cheese

06 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
07 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

→ Garnish

08 - Fresh parsley, chopped

# How to Make It:

01 - Set the oven to 400°F and allow it to fully preheat.
02 - Slice the bread loaf lengthwise into two halves and place them cut-side up on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
03 - In a bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic, Italian seasoning if using, salt, and pepper until thoroughly combined.
04 - Spread the garlic butter generously and evenly over the cut surfaces of both bread halves.
05 - Evenly distribute shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan over the buttered bread halves.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes until the cheese has melted and bubbles. For a crispier finish, broil for 1 to 2 minutes at the end.
07 - Remove from oven, sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired, slice into portions, and serve warm.

# Extra Tips:

01 - For spicier flavor, add red pepper flakes to the cheese layer. Cheddar or gouda can substitute mozzarella for variety. Assemble in advance and refrigerate until baking.
