Cherry Pie Bars (Printable Version)

11 - ½ teaspoon almond extract
12 - 2-3 tablespoons milk

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar and salt until light and fluffy.
02 - Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla extract and almond extract.
03 - Gradually add flour and mix until just combined.
04 - Spread 3 cups of dough into a greased 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Spread cherry pie filling evenly on top.
05 - Drop remaining dough by teaspoonfuls over filling to create a spotty top layer.
06 - Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely in pan on a wire rack.
07 - In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar, vanilla extract, almond extract and milk to reach desired consistency. Drizzle glaze over the cooled bars.
