Condensed Milk Cookies (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 125g self-raising flour (1 cup)
02 - 115g salted butter (½ cup)
03 - 75g sweetened condensed milk (⅓ cup)

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
02 - In a mixing bowl, add the condensed milk and softened butter. Use a hand mixer to beat them well until you achieve a light consistency and pale yellow color.
03 - Sift in the flour and use a spatula to mix everything into a soft dough.
04 - Cover the bowl with clingfilm and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes to firm up the dough.
05 - Use your hands to shape walnut-sized balls from the chilled dough.
06 - Arrange the cookie balls onto 2 trays lined with non-stick paper.
07 - Use a fork to slightly flatten each cookie.
08 - Bake for 15 minutes or until golden.
09 - Leave cookies to cool on the trays for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.

# Handy Tips:

01 - Chilling the dough before baking is highly recommended as otherwise it will be too soft and stick to hands. A chilled dough is easy to work with and mess-free.
02 - Dip the fork into flour each time you flatten a cookie to prevent sticking to the dough.
03 - Do not transfer cookies directly to a cooling rack when hot from the oven as they're still soft and may collapse. Allow them to firm slightly on the baking tray first.
