Ground Pork Nachos (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Base

01 - 1 bag tortilla chips (185 g, 6 oz)

→ Meat Filling

02 - 250 g ground pork (½ lb)
03 - 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
04 - ½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved
05 - 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
06 - ¼ teaspoon salt
07 - ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper

→ Toppings

08 - ½ cup sliced pitted black olives
09 - 1 red pepper, chopped
10 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
11 - Handful of spring onions, chopped
12 - Chilli peppers, chopped (optional)

# How to Make It:

01 - Heat up the oil in a pan, add the ground pork and use a wooden spoon or spatula to break it up into small pieces until no longer pink. Continue to cook it until slightly crispy and lightly brown.
02 - Add the chopped garlic and a cup of water, and cook with the lid on until the liquid is evaporated.
03 - Add the halved tomatoes to the pork, and cook until they become mushy. Season with salt and pepper and set aside to cool.
04 - On a baking tray, spread out the tortilla chips, top with the ground pork mixture, sliced olives, chopped red peppers, and mozzarella cheese.
05 - Bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350 Fahrenheit) for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
06 - Serve with chopped spring onions or chillies, and your preferred sauce.
