Buttery Hawaiian rolls transform into sweet, golden French toast perfect for a warm and comforting morning.

# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 package (12-count) Hawaiian sweet rolls
02 - 3 large eggs
03 - 1/2 cup whole milk
04 - 1/4 cup heavy cream
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
07 - 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

→ For Frying and Serving

08 - 2–3 tablespoons unsalted butter, for frying
09 - Powdered sugar, for dusting
10 - Maple syrup, for serving (optional)

# How to Make It:

01 - In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, whole milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and granulated sugar until well combined and smooth.
02 - Using a serrated knife, slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally to create two even layers for each roll.
03 - Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Melt a small amount of butter to coat the surface. Working in batches, dip each roll half into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are moistened but not saturated.
04 - Place the dipped rolls onto the heated skillet. Cook each side for 2 to 3 minutes, or until golden brown and lightly crisped on the edges. Add additional butter as needed between batches.
05 - Arrange the warm French toast pieces on a serving plate. Dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with maple syrup, if desired. Serve immediately.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Substitute brioche or challah if Hawaiian rolls are unavailable for similar texture and sweetness.
