# What You'll Need:

04 - 4 ½ teaspoons red wine vinegar
05 - 1 teaspoon finely grated onion
06 - 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
07 - ¼ teaspoon sesame oil
08 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch
09 - 1 tablespoon dried minced onion

11 - 1 teaspoon salt
12 - ¾ teaspoon poppy seeds
13 - ½ teaspoon celery seed
14 - ¼ teaspoon onion powder
15 - ¼ teaspoon paprika, heaping

17 - ⅛ teaspoon garlic powder, heaping

# How to Make It:

01 - Whisk all of the ingredients together in a small saucepan.
02 - Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, whisking often to prevent burning.
03 - Reduce the heat to low and simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes. Ensure to whisk frequently.
04 - Allow to cool completely, then transfer to an airtight container and label.
05 - Store in the refrigerator and use within 4 weeks, or freeze for longer storage.

# Handy Tips:

01 - Use a rasp grater to grate the onion. Alternatively, you can use a garlic press to press the onion.
02 - For low carb/keto/diabetic diets, use 1 cup of sweetener that measures cup for cup with sugar instead of white granulated sugar.
03 - If using a squeeze bottle for your sauce, ensure it has a large enough opening for the dried minced onion pieces to pass through.
04 - Keep your sweet onion sauce in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 4 weeks.
